This is now called " The Lugger" the food is delicious, I loved the mussels, there is a great menu here. Sunday carvery is to die for, best to book a table in advance. There's nothing better to sit outside in the sun with a nice cold Doom bar, just taking in the scenery of the prom , the ocean and of course the famous St Michaels Mount. They occasionally also have live music outside. Great atmosphere. Staff are great , friendly and polite.- Service

You have to applaud the staff for the effort that has gone into the festive decorations. We had fish and chips here one evening good food and service. We also ate breakfast here because we were staying in the adjoining hotel. Their Full English is the business! Friendly and welcoming staff.

This is no longer called the wheelhouse, but the Luger Inn. I have eaten there several times for Sunday lunch. This is a carvery, I also have had the veggie option of the nut roast, which is lovely. The vegetables that you can help yourself to are alway hot and fresh, with plenty of dishes to choose from.

Just had to leave a review after seeing people unhappy with the pizza. It's delicious! Sorry it's not a chewy, crunchy supermarket type base. It's a beautiful, homemade traditional Napoli thing! Lovely toppings too.
Went with local friends I was staying with for the Sunday carvery. Was very impressed. Good selection of meats and the array of vegetables on offer was amazing, and all at a good price. The place was packed, though admittedly it was Mothers Day.
Very friendly lively atmosphere. Good food & value for money, we were a party of 6 for the carvery. Thank you.

Found this restaurant,after walking around the town and the few places that were opened, were booked. The Wheelhouse saved my dinner deliciously, mussels and the sea food chower were really good, tasty. The staff was courteous, and friendly..Will come back again. BTW, they had a live band that made the night, most enjoyable.."mucho ritmo" to a Sat., night
Popped in on mother's day on the off chance they had space and the lovely lady at the desk fitted us in straight away, had to wait 15mins for someone to finish but didn't think that was too bad considering, the place was buzzing and the carvery had x5 meats to choose from and every veg you could think of and an extensive vegetarian option too, the food was great, highly recommended, 5 *****.
